Our practice at 48 Sandygate Road in Crosspool, Sheffield is staffed by an experienced and enthusiastic team that provides a range of services including eye examinations,contact lens advice and fitting, sports vision testing, overnight vision correction and intuitive overlays for children.

Alex Gage, Optometrist

AT WORK, Alex tests eyes, conducts glaucoma screening, advises athletes on sports vision and is involved in the PEARS project for acute eyecare referrals

OUTSIDE WORK, Alex 'enjoys' getting up at 4.15am to swim with his elder daughter, cycling and Thursday evenings at the pub.

Sarah Gage, Optometrist

AT WORK, Sarah tests eyes and fits contact lenses.

OUTSIDE WORK, when Sarah's not providing a taxi service for the energetic and athletic Gage girls, she enjoys horse riding, tennis and badminton.

Cath Taylor, Optical Assistant

AT WORK Cath has been with the practice nearly 25 years and dispenses glasses, does remote glazing and mans the reception desk. Cath also has special responsibilty for Mr. P.

OUTSIDE WORK, when Cath's not cooking delicious meals for her grown up family, she enjoys swimming and yoga.

AT WORK, Jo looks after reception, dispenses glasses, conducts contact lens teaches and does remote glazing.

OUTSIDE WORK, Jo's second home is Meadowhall and when she's not shopping. she can be found out socialising or at the gym perfecting her Taibo boxing technique.
